This extraordinary Feuerhand 276 breakdown lantern is a truly unique item — a one‑of‑a‑kind creation made by the most renowned storm‑lantern collector in the Netherlands. It is a remarkable piece of craftsmanship, finished in yellow and black with red reflectors and accents.

The legs can be folded out to raise the lantern high, or folded in for easier transport. It comes with red marked glass.

This piece is based on the Feuerhand Baby 276 STK/70, the iconic safety lantern widely used in construction and roadwork. Thanks to its extremely large tank, it is capable of exceptionally long burn times — the “70” stands for 70 hours.
It includes the original red marked glass and the felt insert that helps the wick draw fuel.

The lantern shows some age‑related wear such as rust, dents (top and bottom), and it stands slightly tilted — all of which contribute to its character. Despite that, it remains fully functional and well suited for practical use.
